Welcome to PocketFund. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use PocketFund.
You must be at least 18, capable of forming a binding contract, and not barred from using the Services under applicable law. By signing up as an investor, you represent that you qualify as an "accredited" or "professional" investor under the rules of your jurisdiction where required.
You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at security@pocketfund.in if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
PocketFund is a discovery and matching platform. We help founders and investors find each other, communicate, share artefacts under NDA, and negotiate terms. We are not an investment advisor, broker-dealer, placement agent, or fiduciary, and we do not vouch for the accuracy of any information shared between users.
You retain ownership of everything you upload — decks, financials, term sheets, messages. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely to operate the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share whatever you upload.
When an investor accesses a founder's data room, our platform binds them to our standard mutual NDA (or your custom NDA if attached). Breaching that NDA is a breach of these Terms and may also be actionable under contract law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Founders use PocketFund free for launching and matching. We charge a success fee on closed rounds (see Pricing for current rates). Investors choose a subscription plan based on fund size. All fees are exclusive of taxes.
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, with notice except in cases of fraud, illegal activity, or imminent harm.
The Services are provided as-is. We don't guarantee any specific outcome — we don't promise you'll raise, get matched, or close. Investments carry risk, including total loss; you are responsible for your own diligence and decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PocketFund's aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Karnataka, India. Disputes will be resolved by the courts at Bengaluru, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your home jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email and an in-app banner at least 14 days before taking effect.
